Galette des rois Cévenole à la crème de marrons
Preparation: 10 min Cooking: 25 min
Ingredients: (for 6/8 people)
• Two packets of puff pastry
• 50 g butter softened in microwave
• 1 tin of crème de marrons (100 g)
• 1 tin of crème de marrons (100 g)
• 125 g powdered almond
• fève and crown (1 coffee spoon of essence of bitter almonds)
• 1 egg + 1 yolk
• 75 g sugar
• 125 g powdered almonds
Preparation:
Pre-heat the oven to 190°C (Th 7).
Mix the sugar, softened butter, 1 egg, crème de marrons and the ground almonds together thoroughly.
Add the essence of bitter almonds.
Roll out one of the puff pastry and spread the mixture evenly over the top.
Hide the fève somewhere in the mixture close to the edge and place the second circle of puff pastry on top.
Trace a few lines across the top with the blade of a knife.
With a brush, spread the egg yolk evenly across the top.
Bake for 25 min on the lowest level (keep an eye on it!).
