Chicken with figs and honey (Languedoc Sun N°1) PDF Print E-mail

INGREDIENTS

1,5 kg chicken Image

500 gr white figs

100 gr sweet onion

2 garlic cloves

3 tbsp of olive oil

2 tbsp of honey

1 tsp of cinnamon

1 drop of safron

Salt & pepper

 

RECIPE

 

In a pan warm up the oil and fry the chicken until golden. Add the chopped onion, the fi nely cut garlic and the spices. Cover with warm water and cook on a mild temperature for 30 mn 10 mn before the end of the cooking, add the halved fi gs and honey. Serve with wheat or rice.
