We consists of about 700 English-speaking nationals and their immediate families living in or around the Bouches du Rhône area. Whether in southern France through work, marriage, or simply an appreciation of the Mediterranean way of life, our members have in common the desire to make connections and share experiences with other English speakers. We welcome new members throughout the year.
Our purpose Founded in 1971 as a non-profit social organisation, we offer to our members numerous opportunities to find friendship, conviviality, and information relevant to life in France. We also do our best to support our members with any difficulties (legal, medical, or otherwise) which they may encounter while living in the area.
The group has three broad aims: * to help English-speaking newcomers adapt to life in France* to preserve and share our own traditions, language, and cultures * to promote friendship and understanding with the French community
